Beginner yoga 101 is a basics yoga Vinyasa class, that teaches you the foundations of several yoga poses, including hip openers, downward facing dogs, and backbends. This video is one in a series of beginner yoga 101.
In beginner yoga 101 you can take the time to understand how each pose should feel in your body. This practice is great for very beginner yogis and people just coming into their yoga practice again. You can pause the video at any time to take a break or drink water.
The purpose of this video is to help you feel good in your body and to understand the physical placement of each pose.
At the end we will cool down with some light stretches and then lie on our backs in a relaxing meditation called Savasana.

Yoga is something I’ve wanted to get into more but haven’t. I always felt strong when I practiced several years ago. Definitely something I could learn to do more.

I have been practicing yoga for some time this is wonderful to get started or even just to go back to your basics even as a seasoned yogi! Thatโs for the relaxing practice! I also loved that it wasnโt super long…easy to do with kiddos too.
Full disclosure…I have not tried yoga. It seems so relaxing and like a really good work out though! I want to try it, I just haven’t gotten around to it. This will be a good way for me to try it out privately so I don’t embarrass myself in front of a class!
I’m excited to try this! The only time I tried yoga, I ended up with a huge headache, so I will try this one ๐
I am a beginner when it comes to yoga. I only know the classic sun salutation and the warrior positions, from my body balance classes.
I will have to try this out. I know I have done some really low-level yoga but I struggle. It sounds like a good primer here.
Sounds great because I have always wanted to do yoga! Glad this is for beginners
